Who We Are


Encompass Credit Union is a solid financial institution with about 8,500 members and approximately 70 employees serving 7 locations, we ensure our members' financial requirements are taken care of by pairing excellent service with product offerings that meet our members' needs.

We offer competitive rates and tailor products for members and their businesses whenever possible. We have service standards to ensure each member receives preferred treatment and we make every effort to process loans quickly so members have a response when they need it. We understand the needs of rural Albertans and we have trained professionals who conduct on-site visits and will travel to a member's location when necessary. Our head office is in Wainwright, Alberta and we are active in all of our communities.


Call for Nominations

The Board of Directors of Encompass Credit Union invites your nominations for Directors. Board members set the direction for the credit union, and make sure it fulfills its mandate. The term of office is three years.
Eligible candidates have been members of Encompass Credit Union for at   least two years, are bondable, and have a satisfactory credit history.
They are committed to the credit union model.
Nomination forms are available at all branches, our Consort Agency, as well as on our website, encompasscu.ca
Nominees must be nominated by a current member in good standing.
